Style Rookie - Guest Post by Rory

Buona lettura!

It's guest post time again. Yay! Today I introduce you Rory, she creates amazing jewels, but she's also an expert in fashion.
Enjoy!

If you have studied or worked in the fashion system, you alredy know that style and originality are the most important things.
Tavi Gevinson, a young girl from Chicago, with her weird hats and dresses has conquered the whole industry of fashion.
Maybe I missed a tiny particular: Tavi is only thirteen! This girl is invited by the greatest fashion designers to fashion shows, she is interviewed by journalists such as Anna Wintour and she owns a blog, Style Rookie, which is followed by many people. She describes all the new collections, and tells something about herself through her outfit changes.

Ma vediamo qualche foto:

Here are some pictures:

And this is one of her many collages

Maybe you will think that this is madness, and perhaps it is so. But I find that her knowledge, her way of mixing and interpreting the various collections, hers use of clothing, makeup and colors are simply unique and admirable.
I think she's a very original girl, she has a big personality. Plus she seems to be cynical and not very nice, and we all know that this is the perfect mix to succeed in the wonderful and complicated world of fashion.

Owls in your Hair / Gufetti tra i capelli - Guest post by Beads and Tricks

Are you ready for another Guest Post?
Today with us there's Alessia from the amazing (and full of inspirations!) Beads and Tricks.
Sit down and enjoy the post!

Last year we all loved owls so much. Maybe it's because they're so cute.
It's easy to imagine that next season they will continue to be the protagonists.
They're so simple to realize: all you need is just a little piece of cloth and two buttons.

If you loved the sweater presented here some months ago, you'll love these two new ideas.
First of all, Ysolda, who usually creates amazing patterns, gives us a lovely little owl to put in our hair.

Here there's another free pattern to create a beautiful pair of gloves.

Chi vuol provare?

Who wants to try?

GATA VALQUIRIA - Guest post by Filo e Colori di Ila

Buona lettura!

Some days ago I asked you to collaborate with me. Many of you said yes (thank you!), so today I'm so happy to introduce you my first lovely guest: Ilaria from Filo e Colori di Ila. She made a great job for you! I hope you'll enjoy her post!

Browsing Flickr is easy to find artists, artisans and creatives from all over the world. Many of them are absolutely stunning!
Anabela Joana , also known as Gata Valquiria , is one of them.
Her jewels are made of colorful fabrics, wool and buttons, felt and beads. They all transmit happiness and joy of living.
Her objects are excessive but in a good way. They are all unique and one-of-a-kind: Anabela doesn't like to create twice the same object!

Here is a selection of necklaces Gata Valquiria

Rosa e vermelho...

O que é que a Baiana tem...

Mistura doida...

Gato Vaidoso...

This is only a tiny part of the work of Gata Valquiria. Check out her blog and her Flickr stream to find much more interesting and crazy things.
