Questa borsa ricamata a mano mi fa impazzire. L'ho vista sul blog A beautiful Mess e ora la voglio! Ho anch'io una borsa in pelle molto vecchia (o forse dovrei scrivere vintage, per essere più cooooooooooool?!??) e mi piacerebbe personalizzarla un pò, ma non so come fare... Consigli???

Illustration day: Ed & Liz

Sin da piccola ho amato le illustrazioni di moda, da quando le guardavo per ore sui libri dei corsi di taglio&cucito di mia madre.
Certo, spesso manca un pò di quella poesia che contraddistingue altri generi artistici, ma a me piace comunque moltissimo.
Crescendo la passione mi è rimasta ed è per questo che oggi vi mostro i lavori di Ed & Liz.

Since I was a child I loved fashion illustrations and I spent many hours looking at my mother's sewing books.
Today I'm still loving this artistic genre, so today I want to introduce you Ed & Liz.

Ed & Liz sono fratello e sorella, sono cresciuti insieme e la loro passione per l'arte è cresciuta con loro.
E' bello vedere cosa li accomuna e, allo stesso tempo, rendersi conto delle differenze stilistiche e di tratto dei due fratelli.

Ed & Liz are brother and sister and their passion for art grew with them.
It's interesting to see what they share and to notice that, at the same time, there are many stylistic differences between their works.



Io adoro queste figure un pò emaciate e incredibilmente eleganti.
E mi piace in particolare il tratto di Ed, che esalta il mistero e il fascino delle sue eteree creature.

I love these figures, they're so elegant.
I particularly like Ed's works, I'm fascinated by the mystery and charm of its ethereal creatures.



Ma apprezzo moltissimo anche il tratto più morbido e "sporco" di Liz e il fascino acerbo e timido delle sue modelle.

But I like also the work ok Liz. It is most soft and "dirty" and I love her young and timid models.

Ormai è chiaro: questo è un periodo d'oro per gli accessori per capelli. Cerchietti, fasce, mollette, fermagli e quant'altro. E allora mettiamoci al lavoro!
