Ho trovato le foto di Alex Saberi per caso mentre cercavo foto di Londra (lo so, la londresità non mi basta mai). Lui è un fotografo eccezionale del National Geographic.

I came across Alex Saberi while looking at random pictures of London (I know, I can’t never get enough of london-ness). He’s an extremely talented National geographic photographer. 

A me piace particolarmente la serie ambientata a Richmond Park. Pare che questo parco sia il posto dove lui ha iniziato ad appassionarsi alla fotografia. Da qualche tempo ha anche pubblicato un libro dedicato a questo posto incantevole, lo trovate su Amazon.

I’m particularly fond of the Richmond Park series. Apparently that’s the place where he started to take pictures. He now has also published a book about this amazing park, which you can find on Amazon.

Scattare foto in giro è una cosa che adoro, soprattutto in autunno quando le luci sono spettacolari. E poi mi diverto tanto ad aggiungere effetti. Questa volta ho giocato col bokeh. Questi sono diversi tramonti visti dalla mia finestra.

Wandering around and taking pictures is one of my favorite thing. And then I have fun by aplaying with effects. This time I played around with bokeh. These are several sunsets that I took from my window.

Già, sono così felice di vivere in un mondo dove esiste il mese di ottobre. Foglie rosse, ombre lunghe, zuppe calde, stivali nuovi, calze di lana, una coperta in più, tramonti da favola, lunghe dormite… E tante nuove cose da fare e sorprese da scartare ♥

Yes, I’m so happy to live in a world where octobers exist. Red leaves, longer shadows, warm soups, new boot, wool socks, one more blanket in my bed, lovely sunsets, long nights of sleep… And so many new things and surprises ♥

Here’s to a generous September

Per quanto impegnativo e faticoso possa sembrare, settembre è un mese buono. La luce in questi giorni raggiunge il massimo dello splendore: cieli blu, tramonti che tolgono il fiato e colori caldi dappertutto. La vita, a settembre, è generosa.

As busy and messy as it can be, September is a good and wholehearted month. The light is at its best: blue skies, breathtaking sunsets and warm colors everywhere. Life is good in September.
