And now, without further ado, here’s the tutorial to make yourself the Poppy Necklace!
Di cosa avrete bisogno:
- Un pezzo di seta (che sia almeno 15x15 cm)
- Coppetta in ottone (1)
- Perle multisfaccettate in vetro nero (8)
- Chiodini head-pin in ottone (1)
- Chiodini con occhiello in ottone (7)
- Chiusura in ottone (1)
- Anellini in ottone (2)
- Catena in ottone (circa 38 cm)
- Ago e filo
Attrezzi usati:
- Una ciotola (io ho usato una ciotola con diametro di 13 cm)
- Forbici
- Pinza con estremità arrotondate
- Wirecutter

- A piece of silk (it should not be smaller than 6*6 inches)
- Brass colored bead cap (1)
- Black faceted glass beads (8)
- Brass head pin (1)
- Brass eye pins (7)
- Brass lobster claw clasp (1)
- Brass jumprings (2)
- Brass chain (approx 15 inches - or 38-39 cm)
- Thread + needle
Tools:
- A bowl (I used a bowl with diameter 5,5 inches - or 13 cm)
- Scissors
- Round-nosed plier
- Wirecutter
Ritagliate un cerchio dalla seta. Per la forma del mio, ho usato la ciotola dei cereali
Cut out a circle form from the silk: you can use any circle forms - I used my cereals bowl
Cucite dei punti lenti lungo l’orlo del vostro cerchio. Una volta ritornate al punto di partenza, tirate il filo e chiudete al centro
Sew a running stitch around the edge of the circle, when you got back to the beginning, pull together the thread and finish it holding the center strong
Prendete una delle perle, infilatela nel chiodino metallico e poi inserite quest’ultimo nel centro del vostro fiore di seta. Coprite l’altra estremità del chiodino con la coppetta in ottone
Take one glass bead, put it on the head pin, and put the head pin into the center of the silk poppy. Put the bead cap to the other end of the head pin
Spingete il tessuto nella coppetta di ottone. Tagliate il chiodino - vi basterà lasciarne circa 0,5 cm e chiudete il tutto realizzando un occhiello con l’aiuto delle pinze. Il vostro fiore ora è pronto!
Push all the fabric into to bead cap, cut most of the pin off with the wirecutter - leaving approc 0,5 cm long part of the pin - and make a loop of the remaining part of the pin. Now you are done with your poppy!
Prendete le 7 perle rimanenti e infilatene ciascuna in un chiodino a occhiello. Tagliate quindi ogni chiodino, lasciando una lunghezza di circa 0,5 cm e chiudete poi realizzando un occhiello con l’aiuto delle pinze. Una volta fatto questo lavoro per ognuna delle 7 perle, attaccate le perle le une alle altre e unite poi la catenella di perle ottenuta al vostro fiore.
Take the remaining 7 glass beads and the 7 eye pins: put one glass bead on an eye pin, cut most of the pin with the wirecutter - leaving approc 0,5 cm long part of the pin - and make a loop of the remaining part of the pin. Repeat it with all of the beads and pins and attach them to each other, and add this chain of beads to the poppy flower's loop
Attaccate metà della catenella di ottone (19 cm circa) all’estremità del filo di perle e l’altra metà al vostro fiore.
Put half of the chain (approx 7 inches) to the end of the beads, and put the other half (7-8 inches) to the loop of the poppy flower
A questo punto non vi resta che congiungere con la chiusura alle 2 estremità della catene con gli anellini
Now you only have to add the jump rings and the clasps to the end of the chains
Et voilà! La poppy flower necklace è pronta! ♥
