Go with the flow… Segui il flusso. Una volta pensavo significasse abbandonarsi al flusso degli eventi. Poi però ho capito che così facendo si rischiava di abdicare a qualunque tipo di responsabilità. Smettere di decidere, smettere di provare, smettere di assumersi responsabilità che tanto pensa a tutto il flusso. No, così non funziona. Assumersi le proprie responsabilità è necessario nel processo di creare la vita che vogliamo, gli eventi che vogliamo. Allora cosa significa andare col flusso? Dopo tanto rifletterci, credo significhi che una volta stabilito chiaramente quello che vogliamo e una volta compiuti i passi necessari per ottenerlo, bisogna poi abbandonarsi al flusso, cioè dare fiducia al processo, lasciare che si dipani ed accoglierne i doni.
Going with the flow… I used to think that going with the flow meant to let yourself go together with any events without moving a finger. But then I realized it was risky because it meant letting go of any responsibility. But one can’t just stop to make decisions, stop trying, avoid responsibilities and so on. It just doesn’t work. Taking responsibility in necessary if we want to create the life we dream of. So what does going with flow mean? I believe it means that once we know what we want and once we start to make the little steps necessary to achieve it, we can then let ourselves go with the flow, which means trust the process, let it unravel and welcome the gifts it’ll bring.
