Dietro questo marchio ci sono Valentina e Laura, 2 sorelle catanesi con una grande passione per l'handmade e il vintage mixata a una maxi dose di creatività.

Let me introduce you La Bottega di Zanzu, a lovely brand by two creative italian sisters, Valentina and Laura.

Propongono una ricca collezione di accessori imperdibili, per questa estate vorrei segnalarvi in particolare le romantiche zanzu belts, i bangles in seta e i nuovi sfiziosissimi cappelli.

They make tons of beautiful accessories. For this summer I'd choose the romantic zanzu belts, the silk bangles and the new amazing hats.







Anche se, devo ammetterlo, la cosa che preferisco in assoluto sono le bird necklace.

I have to admit that my favorite accessory is the bird necklace.

Let's go shopping vintage

Une dei vantaggi del vivere nell'East London, è la gran quantità di negozietti vintage. Io adoro visitarli, toccare tutto, immaginare la storia di vestiti e accessori d'epoca (purtroppo - tanto per cambiare - sono ancora in fase "grandi ristrettezze" e quindi guardo soltanto, ma questa è un'altra storia).

Nell'attesa di un po' di tempo e tranquillità da dedicare alla preparazione di un mega post di aggiornamenti e foto originali, godetevi questa carrellata di immagini tratte da We Heart It.

Ninainvorm: amazing ceramic

Quella per la ceramica è una passione recentissima e del tutto inaspettata. Tutto è iniziato con una spilla di ceramica dipinta a mano vista su un banchetto al mercato di Portobello Road e ora io - quella che aveva sempre relegato la ceramica nell'angolo del "vecchio e noioso" - mi trovo a sognare accessori, piatti e teiere.
Ed ecco spiegato come mi sono imbattuta nei lavori di Ninainvorm.

My love for ceramic is recent and unexpected. It all started with a lovely ceramic hand-painted brooch on a stall of Portobello Road's market. From that moment I'm always dreaming about ceramic accessories, plates, teapots...
Recently I discovered Ninainvorm works and I think they're lovely.



Nina è una ragazza olandese di 27 anni che studia interior design. E' appasionatissima di oggetti in ceramica (!) che crea e colleziona.

Nina is a 27 years old girl from Netherlands. She's a interior design student and she loves ceramic (!) both vintage and contemporary. She creates beautiful items and collect ceramics too (I' d like to see her collection so much).



Penso che le sue creazioni siano perfette per rallegrare un'ambiente, io adoro in particolare il suo modo di accostare colori primari al bianco e sogno una delle sue teiere per contenere la mia collezione (immaginaria) di ferri e uncinetti.

I think that her works are perfect to bright a room. I love her way to mix primary colors with white and I'd like to have one of her lovely teapot to hold my (imaginary) collection of crochets and knitting needles.
